Introduction

Born in 1977, Pemba is highly skilled in Thangka art, and monastery mural painting. Aside from mural painting, he also crafts creative cement sculptures for the Monastery decoration. He has spent the last 17 years painting and decorating monasteries in Singapore, Vietnam, India, China, and Nepal. He is the president of Norling Traditional Art and Agro-farm Pvt. Ltd. His major works can be seen in Phulari Ghumba, Amitabha Foundation, Kapan, Adzom Monastery, Pharping Dallu, Tashi Tsyoling Monastery, Sikkim, Dalat City, Vietnam and Pemi Ngyugu Choling Monastery, Sindhupalchowk. He has also been running private Thangka atelier for the past 15yrs in Boudha. His company presently employs around 20 people.
